ENKON ENVIRONMENTAL

On behalf of Metro Vancouver, ENKON completed annual studies to assess compliance with Fraser River water quality objectives at the edge of the initial dilution zone for the Annacis WWTP.  The current project began in February 2019 and is ongoing.  All surveys included weekly sampling at the edge of the IDZ during the winter low flow period.  The 2011 to 2018 studies included additional sampling during late summer – early fall low flows.  The surveys were conducted for five weeks in order to compare results with 30-day average objectives.  ENKON submitted reports and prepared presentations for the Environmental Monitoring Committee.
