ENKON ENVIRONMENTAL

ENKON is assisting Wesbild Holdings with environmental design and environmental approvals for a major housing development on Burke Mountain in northeast Coquitlam, BC.  ENKON conducted preliminary fish and wildlife population/habitat, and vegetation surveys to identify opportunities and constraints to development.  Subsequently, we completed more detailed surveys and developed mitigation measures to meet the requirements of Coquitlam’s neighbourhood planning process.  This work included identifying wildlife movement corridors and preparing a Wildlife Management Plan to minimize human-wildlife conflicts.  ENKON also is providing input to the subdivision design with respect to required riparian setbacks.
