Bear Creek Crossing

The City of Surrey extended a pedestrian footpath to connect residential development areas through Bear Creek Park, linking lands within the Hunt Brook watershed area off King George Hwy through to an existing trail network located at 8213 140th Street.  A clear-span bridge crossing was constructed over Mahood (Bear) Creek. ENKON conducted detailed watercourse/vegetation mapping utilizing portable Trimble R1 GPS real-time field receivers to download environmental data to ENKON's ArcGIS software, to prepare detailed mapping of the watercourse RAR boundaries and planting plan.
