ENKON ENVIRONMENTAL

On behalf of Metro Vancouver, ENKON completed annual studies to assess compliance with water quality objectives at the edge of initial dilution zone for the Iona Deep Sea Outfall (Iona Island WWTP).  The surveys included collecting water samples at the IDZ boundary under different tidal conditions (ebb, flood and slack).  The surveys included 5 or 6 sampling days over 30-day period in order to compare results with 30-day average guidelines.  The 2010-2014 studies included drogue tracking to confirm current direction and depth profiling for dissolved oxygen and other water quality parameters.
