ENKON ENVIRONMENTAL

ENKON was engaged by Goode Arboriculture Consulting Ltd (Goode) on behalf of Northview Golf & Country Club (Northview), to conduct an eagle and heron nest assessment and development of a nest management plan in support of proposed hazard tree removal from Northview Golf Course.  The seven hazard trees within the vegetation buffer zone required removal to mitigate risk to patrons and staff at Northview Golf Course.  One active eagle nest was observed within the hazard tree assessment area.  Tree removals and processing (i.e. bucking and grinding) were recommended for deferral until such time as the young had fledged the nest.
