ENKON ENVIRONMENTAL

ENKON was retained by Peace Park Development Ltd. to conduct an eagle nest assessment and prepare a nest management plan in support of subdivision and residential development.  One active eagle nest was observed to the south within the vicinity of the development site.  ENKON recommended adoption of a 75m vegetation buffer; however, it did not preclude land clearing in support of development.  ENKON also recommended should ongoing home construction extend into 2016, periodic part-time monitoring of nest activity and influence on Bald Eagles was recommended.
