ENKON was contracted by Portrait Homes to prepare an eagle nest management/monitoring plan to minimize disturbance to an active eagle nest located adjacent to a 57 unit townhome strata development at 36A Avenue in south Surrey.  The eagle nest management plan was accepted by the City of Surrey and formed an integral part of construction scheduling and development.  Over the past 3 years, ENKON monitored the eagle nest and response of a breeding pair of eagles during the breeding season from February-July.  Construction activities were carefully planned and no adverse disturbance to the eagles was observed.
