As part of the environmental assessment of the Burnaby Lake dredging project, ENKON was responsible for conducting baseline vegetation and wildlife resource studies to determine the potential impacts of dredging the lake. As part of the wildlife studies, painted turtle populations were monitored using radio telemetry to identify critical nesting and overwintering/hibernation habitat within the lake.
